Gwendolyn Morgan
Gwendolyn (Gwen) Morgan is E2A’s Deputy Director. She has worked in public health since 1995, and is a health behavior researcher and evaluation specialist in the areas of family planning and reproductive health. As a graduate student at Tulane University, she worked and travelled on a number of USAID projects in the 1990s and then was based in Nairobi, Kenya, for ten years, from 2001 to 2011. Before officially joining E2A in 2013, Dr. Morgan served as a Research Scientist at the African Population and Health Research Center in Nairobi, Kenya, from 2009 to 2013, first as the Nairobi-based Technical Lead for the African Population Health and Research Center’s Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-funded Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation Project for the Urban Reproductive Health Initiative, and then as a member of the African Strategies for Health Project, based at Management Sciences for Health in Arlington. Dr. Morgan has expertise in monitoring and evaluation of communications and social marketing programs, reproductive health service delivery programs, and youth programs.
